How to create a 3D-looking steel object

This screencast shows us how we can create shape and make it look as though it has been cut out of a sheet of steel. We're also shown how to add a drop shadow to it to make it more 3D. In this screencast, we use the shape of a tick as an example, but don't forget you can make whatever shape you want and you can use the rectangular select tool, the ellipse select tool, free select tool or path select tool.
