For a novice just starting out in the world of screencasting, that's a lot of information to take in before you even start to create anything, let alone choosing which piece of software you should buy or download.

Here at ScreencastCentral, we thought it would be a good idea to survey our members, not only to find out which applications you use, but also to get your thoughts on them, and any past experiences you have using other software.
