Making a Sandy looking texture in Gimp
In this screencast, we're looking at how to create a texture. The texture in question is a sand texture this time, and it's simple enough to make. All you have to do is adjust the noise of your bucket-filled image, edit a selection of it which you can that cut and paste in different areas ontop of your layer to create sand ripples, and then you're done.
